Here’s a brief recap of what happened in 2008.
- CARETS: In October, Full Residential and Residential Lease listing data from the participating organizations of CARETS (CRISNet, CLAW, i-Tech, SoCAL and MRMLS) was launched in the Matrix system.
- Greater South Bay Regional MLS: In February, the Inglewood Board of REALTORS®, Palos Verdes Peninsula and South Bay Association of REALTORS® joined MRMLS.
- New Matrix Features: Throughout the year additional features were included in the Matrix system such as Driving Directions, Interactive Customer Portal, a Quick way to Add Contacts, Map Search, Cumulative Days on Market, Auto Sold Policy, Glowing Search fields and a revamp of the Matrix layout and color scheme.
- PinPoint™2.0: PinPoint™ combines listing data and public property records on an interactive map and incorporate property, street, demographic and school information.
- Realist ValueMap: Offers automated property estimation on your website that includes both listing and public property records. (based or calculated)
- Continuing Education Credits: MRMLS is the first Southern California MLS to offer CE Credits in Consumer Service for Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and Listing Management Matrix classes.
- SafeMLS® Security Tokens: This was launched to secure and protect one of our most valuable assets, your listing data.
- ListHub:Provides a platform for brokers to market and syndicate their listings to 23 major websites.

1. Listingbook™: An online service that tracks and analyzes your client’s activities and encourages collaboration and communication.
2. Additional Property Types from CARETS: Residential Income, Land/Lot, Mobile Homes, Business Ops and Commercial listings will be made available in the Matrix system.
