Try the new step-by-step Quick Reference Guides including:

If you want to search multiple statuses or areas, use a Saved Search for each. For example, if you would like to search for Expired listings in Arcadia and Active listings in Alhambra, you can create one Saved Search called “Arcadia Expired Listings” and a second one called “Alhambra Active Listings.” (View the Saved Search Quick Reference Guide for more information).

If you want to put both the Arcadia Expired and Alhambra Active listings in to a single report, run each search, add selected listings from the results to your Cart, and use those as the basis for your CMA or other reports. (For information on adding results to your cart go to: http://66.151.72.168/DispArticle.cfm?ARTICLE_ID=16146).

Question & Answer:

Q.  What is the difference between a Hot Sheet and a Hot Search?

A.  Hot Searches are specially designed Hot Sheets.  They have all the functionality of a Hot Sheet, but are organized a little differently.  In fact, having the Hot Search area on the Home Tab is like having 10 additional Hot Sheets.

Q. When do I use a Hot Sheet?

A.  A Hot Sheet is used to display a quick market update of the area an agent most frequently works or other area/city of interest. Once an agent customizes their hot sheet and sets its criteria for an area, one or more statuses or all status activity in that area can be shown.  (See How to Customize a Residential Hot Sheet Quick Reference Guide).

Example Usage of a Hot Sheet: An agent wants to see newly active or expired listings within a designated farm area.

Q. When do I use a Hot Search?

A. Hot Searches allow easy and quick access to market updates of an agents top-ten Saved Searches from the Home Tab within MRMLS Matrix.

Example Usage of a Hot Search: An agent has a client who is looking in a specific area for newly active listings within a price range and with a minimum number of bedrooms, bathrooms etc. The agent can set up a Hot Sheet to monitor the daily activity of properties that match their criteria.

Q.  What is the difference between a Hot Search and a Saved Search?

A.  Hot Searches are Saved Searches that appear on and can be accessed from the Home Tab from within MRMLS Matrix. (For information on how add a Save Search to the Home Tab, see the How to Save Hot Searches Quick Reference Guide).
