Start using MRMLS Matrix to send Auto Email to your new prospects.  Remember, iMRMLS will be phased out sometime in early 2007, so the sooner you start using MRMLS Matrix, the better!

Prospecting and Auto Email FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions):

Q.   Will the prospects in iMRMLS be automatically rolled over to MRMLS Matrix?

A.   Yes, as of Friday, October 6, 2006, all active prospects were copied from the iMRMLS System over to MRMLS Matrix under Saved/Automatic Searches. However, agents must enable the prospects to be auto-emailed.  To do this, go to Save/Automatic Searches under My Matrix and click the Enable Auto Email button on the Settings window for each prospect. You can go to http://vc.mrmlsu.com/vc/viewlet/1307101/ to watch a short video explaining the steps.

Q.   How is Prospecting in MRMLS Matrix different than in iMRMLS?

A.   MRMLS Matrix has new opt-in/opt-out and auto-timeout features, ensuring as many emails as possible reach their intended audience.  These features enable agents to avoid many of the typical email pitfalls such as being blacklisted or being rejected by individual spam filters.

Q.   Can I see if email sent to a prospective buyer was read?

A.   Yes, one of MRMLS Matrix new features is Email History that allows agents to see when their auto emails were first and last viewed by a prospective buyer.

Q.   Can I tell Matrix when to send emails to prospective buyers?

A.   Yes, by choosing ASAP, agents can set up MRMLS Matrix to notify buyers when new properties matching their criteria are listed, or MRMLS Matrix can be told to wait and send daily (8AM and/or 6PM), or monthly notifications.

Q.   Can I enable a prospect who has been disabled and will I be notified if I enter an invalid
email address?

A.   Yes, to enable a disabled prospect, go to Save/Automatic Searches under My Matrix and click the Enable Auto Email button on the Settings window of any Saved Search. Agents will be notified via email if they enter an invalid email address for one of their contacts on an Auto Email list.
