The beauty of Smart Trac is that it maintains electronic copies of your documents, making them available to designated participants wherever there is an Internet connection.
The new features of Smart Trac make it easier to load documents into the system. If you have a hard copy of a document, you can fax it to (888)796-9915 and the document will be ready for use in the system within 60 minutes.
New Features:
1. Smart Uploading of Documents—It will save you time!
· You can upload the documents directly from your desktop
· You can fax documents into the system utilizing the automatic coversheet generation feature
Note: If your document isn’t ready, you can create a placeholder for the document, and fax or upload the document at a later time. Smart Trac will add a reminder in your To Do list that your document is pending upload.
2. Smart Notifications—If your transaction requires documents from vendors or other participants, Smart Trac has the option to automatically send “Document Upload Request Notifications” to designated users. This Smart Request for Document Notification allows participants who receive it, to print the Notification for use as a coversheet and scan or fax the document, or just reply to the email with the requested document attached.
3. Smart Document Naming and Definitions—For most of your needs, a standardized predefined set of document templates, including permissions, has been adopted from the California Association of Realtors® (C.A.R.) library of forms. You can create additional document types by using the User-Defined Document feature.
