What is CARETS?

CARETS allows you to log o to the MRMLS Matrix system and access the entire database of MRMLS, CLAW, iTech, CRISNet and SoCal listings.  CARETS provides access to the Los Angeles basin, Orange County, Inland Empire, San Gabriel Valley and San Fernando Valley from one system – MRMLS Matrix!

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q. How can I search for CARETS listing data?

A. Run a Residential or Residential Lease property search in Matrix.  CARETS listings appear the same way.  An MLS identifier has been placed on the far right side of the Agent 1 Line display.  The MLS identifier indicates which MLS organization the listing originated from.

Q. What property types are available through CARETS now?

A.  At the moment, Residential & Residential Lease listings are available for searching in the MRMLS Matrix system. In early December, you will be able to add listings into the expanded Area and City list.  In early 2009, Residential Income, Land, Mobile Homes and Commercial listings will be made available.

Q. Will I need to reciprocate my listings to other participating MLS systems?

A.  Eventually no.  Each participating MLS will have the ability to pull, receive, and display each other’s full listing data on their own respective MLS system.  Until the participating MLS systems are ready to go live by displaying MRMLS  listings to their users, you may need to continue to reciprocate your listings to their MLS systems.

Q. I noticed that there are some CARETS listings without DOM/CDOM values. Will this feature be made available?

A.  Yes, this feature will be made available within the coming weeks.  The delay is required because of the need to download millions of records from the other participating MLSs.
